Here's a recap of last night's meeting in case you couldn't make it:
-- Our entry in the Easter parade won 1st Place Open Division and 2nd Place Overall!!! Great job, everyone!
-- The St. Johns County Health and Wellness Fair is this Thursday, 8am-3pm. Jay F. will be providing a Wii running game for our booth. Jim and Debbie will be representing the club. I put together a raffle prize from the club - a duffel bag of ACRR/running goodies.
-- Don's Run is this weekend. Packet pick-up starts at noon on Friday at the pier, Friday night is the disco party, and the 5K is at 8:30 Saturday morning. The stand-up paddleboard race is at 11:30am Saturday. About 8 street volunteers are still needed to help with traffic during the race. Please contact Jim or Renee if you are available.
-- The Hash Run will be May 5th at 4pm. The theme is Cinco de Mayo.
-- Volunteers have stepped up to start planning this summer's running camp - Fred, Kevin, Amy, Theresa, Rick, and Sandy. If anyone else is interested, step right up!
-- Bridget is working on getting an ACRR newsletter out at the beginning of May. If she has asked you to write something for the newsletter, make sure you get it to her soon.
-- Amy encouraged everyone to consider signing up for Muddy Buddy in Atlanta in June. She promises lots of fun and festive traditions.
-- Marathon Bob was volunteered to work on deciding which marathon the club should choose to travel to next year. It has not been confirmed whether he wants this task, so if anyone else is interested, make yourself known.
